Follow the Royal Wedding Parade Route while you are visiting London on vacation —

For those who will be following the royal wedding between Kate Middleton and Prince William, whether live on television or by live stream video by internet on the day of the Royal Wedding event, remember you can come back and visit any of the historical places you see while on vacation.

Many die hard Princess Di fans and Royal Family history buffs will be following the parade route when they come to visit London on vacation.

The Royal Wedding [festivities including the parade itself] will be broadcast live, but in this day and age of high speed internet and technology, why not start planning your vacation tourist steps by watching the event on live stream video, follow on TV, and get the laptop ready to play with an interactive infographic map of the Royal Wedding parade? Why? To plan your pop culture travel tour and remember where you saw William and Kate, of course.

The UK Telegraph has an interactive map that will follow the parade route from Westminster Abbey to Constitution Hill, which marks historical royal landmarks and other areas of interest, and will be updated with photograph and video links and links to articles as they become available. They also will be following tweets from users in the area and will post those at points along the parade route on the map, approximating where the tweets are coming from.

The Vancouver Sun reports:

At the end of their wedding service at Westminster Abbey, Prince William and Miss Middleton will travel in the 1902 State Landau along the Processional Route to Buckingham Palace. The route will include Parliament Square, Whitehall, Horse Guards Parade and The Mall. In the event of severely wet weather, the couple will travel in The Glass Coach.

There is some additional infromation at AOL Travel concerning the landmarks on the royal wedding parade route, past which the procession will move on its way to Buckingham Palace. Highlights include some history of the landmarks, details about the buildings, and what to expect at each location during the parade. It may also be possible to catch part of the procession from a Ustream webcam view of the Tower Bridge, so keep your eyes peeled for more vacation and tourist trip infromation for travelers.
