Humanitarian Lady Gaga heading to White House to bully president

The 25-year-old mega kajillionaire and pop music superstar who calls herself Lady Gaga knows what it is like to be bullied and she does not like it. Now, the international LGBT icon is heading to Washington, DC – to put a little pressure on the president at the White House. Will she be able to bully him into bullying Washingtonian elites into making anti-bullying laws a part of civil rights legislation?

Lady Gaga White HouseLady Gaga is an outspoken advocate for the prevention of bullying (especially the type that has historically been allowed to happen in American public school systems of LGBT students). Following the tragic suicide of gay teenager Jamey Rodemeyer, she took a road trip to visit President Obama‘s current home in Washington D.C. — the White House.

While the famous humanitarian was not given an audience with Barack Obama (a Nobel Peace Prize winner who has failed to enact enough positive change yet in Washington in many Hollywood celebs opinions), she was able to see and speak with his adviser (a woman named Valerie Jarrett).

Yeah. We know. Not thrilling news for the LGBT community to hear or for any adult child who knows what it was like to be bullied as a kid and is following stories about humanitarian political activism.

Regarding the meeting, Jarrett said: “Lady Gaga has described this cause as a personal one – she has said that as a child, she was often picked on for being different. I am deeply moved by the way she has used her story, and her success, to inspire young people, and shine the spotlight on important issues.”

If you have not been following the Mother Monster story closely, Lady Gaga is a green celebrity who has used her fame and fortune wisely. She recently founded the non-profit organization called the Born This Way Foundation. Her group works in partnership with other socially responsible organizations like the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University and the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation. Together with her Little Monsters fan base, the groups strive to change the dynamic between members of the LGBT community and how they are perceived as people who deserve equal rights and gay marriage entitlements under the protection of civil rights legislation.

She’s actually not a weirdo at all… she truly is an artist who cares about righting very specific wrongs and faithfully advocates for humanitarian (and eco-friendly) causes.

Her number one goal she had in mind when founding the charitable benefit company Born This Way? Lady Gaga wants to help other young people to develop self-confidence. She’s also making strides to get Washingtonian elite to recognize the plight of bullied children who are subject to years of torture and being left vulnerable to physical, mental, and emotion abuse by mean kids.

Will her lonesome appearance asking for help from the White House Staff make an impression on the U. S. president? Can she bully him into signing anti-bullying laws into federal legislation?

We hope so. But it can never happen if Barack Obama refuses to meet with her.

If you want to know how to help, write your local and state level politicians — and tell @whitehouse to let @ladygaga meet with the president!

It’s a great time to remind him how important a celebrity endorsement could be from Lady Gaga could be when it comes time to get him re-elected in the 2012 elections.
