A new celebrity death hoax hit the internet claiming actor and comedian Eddie Murphy is dead. How funny (not). The Beverly Hills Cop movie series star says he’s very much alive (even if he’s not hosting the Oscars). According to TMZ, “The frenzy was triggered by MediaFetcher.com. The site has been spinning bogus stories about other celebs they claim are dead but are not — including Jon Bon Jovi, Charlie Sheen, Adam Sandler, Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Bacon, Luke Perry, Jack Black, Will Smith, Jaden Smith, Tom Green, Tiger Woods, and George Clooney. Steve-O is really not that bad of a person — and even though he gets paid big money to act like one on TV, he really is not an idiot. He spends his quality time abusing himself, not other people. In fact, like Elisabetta Canalis, he is also a die-hard vegetarian. He actually walked out of a charity event for the American Diabetes Foundation because they served meat. He made a great point that them serving meat (instead of a healthy vegetarian alternative) was like serving alcohol at an AA meeting. [He’s right, actually. Actor George Clooney got big accolades for his role as Matt King in The Descendents. His producer / director team said that he was the quarterback for the film, one they believe will go down as one of the most memorable in history. While many folks who have not bothered to go see the movie about a man trying to hold his family and life together after his wife slips into a coma may disagree, one thing was clear: when it comes to winning awards, Clooney still mops the floor with everybody.
