Bald Barbie to support female cancer victims creates toy scandal

In a bold move that may be seen as less than humanitarian, Mattel toy company has responded to numerous requests from cancer survivors to create a bald Barbie. They have issued a form letter saying the company does not accept solicitations for new ideas. The toy company known for creating dolls that make every woman know what it means to be a thin and pretty career girl with everything is refusing to make a doll that will help little girls and women stuck with cancer know that they are still real beauties (even if they have lost their hair after going through traumatizing medical procedures like radiation and chemotherapy). Emmy winning child star Kristy McNichol out of the closet after 20 years

Kristy McNichol, who prefers living a very private life, has dedicated much of her life to giving to charity and helping children since leaving the acting profession. She has done work for charities like the H.E.L.P Group, supporting children with conditions like autism (as does Celebrity Wife Swap star Carnie Wilson), Asperger’s, and other disorders related to emotional problems and abuse. She also supports St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The former child star came out of the closet in 2012 after twenty years of virtual public silence to help support other lesbian and gay kids. Papa John’s Pizza in hot water for employee remark about Asian Americans

Papa John’s: Better ingredients. Better Pizza. But not better employees? Papa John’s Pizza is under fire after one of its 16-year-old employees at a New York restaurant was found to have used what is being called a racist remark to refer to a customer. Harlem resident Minhee Cho had placed an order in the restaurant but got home to examine her receipt when she noted the name on the receipt read “lady chinky eyes”. Keep reading…
