Maria Shriver hired a private detective to leak info about affair?

Hell hath no fury like a reporter scorned by a cheating ex-husband keeping a love child and secret mistress. Maria Shriver is going all out following the split from actor Arnold Schwarzenegger. The former first lady of California is filing for divorce, and if that isn’t enough, it is reported that she has hired investigators to look into allegations that the former governor (or Governator, if you prefer) had more than one child with a mistress while married to Shriver. Us Magazine reports that Maria Shriver intends to fromally file for divorce as early as the end of this week. Shriver and Schwarzenegger had been separated for months before now, with Maria Shriver reportedly looking for a condo of her own as early as January 2011. Then, when news broke that Arnold Schwarzenegger not only had been unfaithful but had a child by another woman, Mildred Baena (the family housekeeper for the past 20 years), Maria Shriver rightfully became furious with her movie star husband. By the time E! Online News called him the Sperminator and Forbes blog said that Arnold Schwarzenegger was truly disgusting for the timing of his affair and keeping a secret love child separate from his family of four children with former journalist and Kennedy family member Maria Shriver, his movie star comeback career in Hollywood seemed to be done. But not as done as his finances are about to become!
Us Magazine reports:
On May 9, the couple announced they were separating after 25 years of marriage; Schwarzenegger, 63, also admitted to fathering an illegitimate child during his marriage to Shriver, 55. The alleged mother of the child, Mildred “Patty” Baena, worked as a housekeeper in the Schwarzenegger household for 20 years.
What’s more is Maria Shriver now is being looked at as the person who leaked the reports of Arnold’s infidelity. It’s not like everyone was unaware, but the most recent source of accusations about Schwarzenegger’s mistresses and affairs (and child or children) may have come from Maria Shriver herself after she determined to leave her marriage, says Hollywood Life.
But an insider disagrees, telling E! Online:
“This is a completely fabricated story. Maria did not hire a private detective and she is not the one who leaked the news to the L.A.Times,” the insider insists to E! News.
Whether she leaked the infromation to the L.A. Times is uncertain, but one thing is certain: Maria Shriver is not giving up. Having hired an especially tough divorce lawyer, Laura Wasser, Maria Shriver promises to leave no stone unturned.InRumor reports an inside source:
“The investigator will likely look into the claims that he fathered multiple children, outside their marriage,” a source revealed. “Maria has heard the rumors and she wants to find out one way or another, if those claims are true.”
“Maria is leaving no stone unturned and she has authorized a private detective to gather personal and business infromation about Arnold,” the source continued. “Maria needs and wants to know exactly what she is dealing with.”
Did Maria Shriver leak the reports of the illegitimate love child between Arnold Schwarzenegger and the housekeeper? Did she know all along that the affairs were carrying on and simply let it slide for her own benefit until it benefited her interests? It’s all up in the air so far, but if rumors are confirmed true that Maria Shriver hired a private detective to help discover and leak infromation before the fromal separation, it will paint a very different picture of the story.
