The two love bird star celebs have been on vacation and enjoying the pristine beaches of the island state for a Hollywood romance get away. Young Justin Bieber has been dating the Disney Princess for months but it has only been in the past few weeks they have grown more and more open about their relationship and acting like more normal teens with public displays of affection.
Seeing the pics of the celebrity teen — who is still a minor, by the way — showing him at the beach, wearing a board shorts bathing suit, and kissing his girlfriend Selena Gomez (who was wearing a darling bandeau top bikini) was racy enough. Adding that he looks like he has a new tattoo is putting teen scene fans over the top chatting about his new tattoo art on rumor mills. Did Justin Bieber get a real tattoo already?
Celebrity tattoos are all the rage right now — and other teens like Miley Cyrus have been making them popular. Did the Biebs fall prey to Hollywood kids peer pressure and get a new tattoo or will his ink fade over time? If girlfriend Selena Gomez keeps kissing Justin Bieber, it is our guess she likes Justin Bieber’s new tattoo and he will be pleased to have the ink making him look a bit more mature. Changing his celebrity hairstyle from long to short was his first step in personal transformation from boy to man. Kissing his girlfriend Selena Gomez and being spotted out together in public holding hands was step two in his transition to a public image of maturity. Was step three of asserting his manhood getting a celebrity tattoo to show his older woman girlfriend that he can man up, take the pain of the tattoo needle, and to let her know he is not a little kid any more?
Being a teen celebrity is hard as so many people judge a child’s behavior and have a hard time reconciling when celebrity kids grow up. Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are both child stars who have grown up singing in public and appearing on television. Selena Gomez has been on Disney television series programming since she was young. Justin Bieber was discovered by Usher (a popular musician) when he was also just a little kid — and by the time he was 16, had his own life story to date immortalized in a 3D movie for the big screen.
Watching both Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber grow up (from an outside perspective and as a parent of older children who have not followed the career of either star celebs) has been an interesting life experiment for this writer. Not having kids in the house who worship either of the teen scene celebs, it has been a pleasure to watch both Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez grow up.
Both teen celebrities have been active green celebrities, and despite the fact that Selena Gomez is a bit older than Justin Bieber, the love birds seem to have so much life history in common that the age difference is a moot point.
What is sad to see is that Justin Bieber has a tattoo — especially at such a young age.
Why?
Because with all his star power and Hollywood influence, if he really does have permanent ink one knows there will be a rash of young teens across the United States who will want to get tattoos now. And, if their parents refuse to sign the consent from for a professional tattoo for those kids who are under 18, the chances are that kids across the country will start to research how to give themselves amateur tattoos using India Ink and sewing needles.
