Sports celebrity Venus Williams will be making a green New Year’s Resolution for 2012. The former World Number One singles tennis star is going completely vegan, the Daily Mail reports. Younger sister Serena Williams will be joining her. Williams is embarking on the new vegan diet (though arguably she was quite healthy before) to improve her overall health after being diagnosed with a relatively rare autoimmune disease. The celebrity athletes join the ranks of star celebs like Mike Tyson, Russell Brand, Alicia Silverstone and Ellen Degeneres. Snooki from the reality television show Jersey Shore got big praise from celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton on New Years Day. Why was he giving her kudos and more free publicity? Over her new ginger inspired hairstyle, of course. It actually looked cute — well, pretty cute… more cute if you were a bit too hungover from late night debauchery at New Years Eve parties.
