Celebrity Moms: Katie Holmes new fashion model for Ann Taylor?

Celebrity Moms!

Katie Holmes, wife of Tom Cruise and celebrity mom to Suri Cruise, is the new Hollywood fashion icon sure to become a super model for clothing company Ann Taylor.

[Jan. 27]

Finally, a lovely Hollywood wife and mother who has stayed chic and fashionable without looking perpetually like she is trying to be a wayward teenager. Celebrity mom Katie Holmes has been a devoted and doting mom to young daughter Suri Cruise (age 4) since the raven hair little girl was born.

Suri Cruise made celebrity fashion headlines this past week when she was spotted in Vancouver wearing a faux fur winter coat — a pet friendly style she was said to adopt after saying she wanted a real mink coat. One visit to the petting zoo seemed to cure that urge for her — and GCN writers all agree the little girl is darling.

Now, the announcement and spy photos of Katie Holmes modeling conservative and classic Ann Taylor women’s wear comes as a nice surprise.

No shocking apparel is sold at the company. Only real clothes for real young women and mothers who want upscale and classic wardrobe pieces but can’t afford the higher priced boutique shopping (or don’t philosophically endorse excessive spending).

Celebrity Kids Fashions: Faux fur fashion stir thanks to Suri Cruise?

Paparazzi from the Daily Mail UK caught up with Hollywood actress and world-famous celebrity mom Katie Holmes out shopping for a girls day out with darling daughter Suri Cruise in Vancouver, Canada. Exciting in and of itself? Only if you like celebrity kids spotting. However, we think the whole Katie-Suri shopping adventure was cool because the mainstream media chose to profile little Suri Cruise — the adorable daughter of actor Tom Cruise — for being an eentsie-weentsie pet friendly celebrity.

5 simple ways to lower your energy bill without freezing or melting —

[Jan. 23]

Lowering your electric bill each month is an easy #EcoMonday goal to achieve if you focus first on reducing your heating and cooling costs. Since the greatest amount of energy drawn from your local electric company power grid typically comes from heating and cooling your home [with your hot water heater pulling a close second, follower by your washer and dryer, refrigerator, that oh-so-cool big screen plasma TV, and then all those convenience appliances and nifty electronic gadgets that constantly drain your house even when off (by pulling phantom energy)], you want to turn that thermostat DOWN in the winter and UP in the summer for sure. But what if you don’t want to freeze or melt? Don’t worry — there is still hope for you to be able to cut electric bill costs while being comfortable in your own green house.
