Pet friendly celebrity senior Betty White is a national treasure. So is the company Betty Crocker, the group that is most famous for making cake mix. Both turn 90 years old in 2012 and are celebrating being a part of American life and culture for nearly 100 years together. To honor them both, “Betty White’s 90th Birthday: A Tribute To America’s Golden Girl” will air on January 16th, the day before her actual birthday. The show starts at 8 p.m. EST. Martha Stewart career going to the dogs (TV ratings low, show cancelled)

Cancelled!?! Say what? Martha Stewart, the iconic homemaker and television star celeb known for her arts and crafts projects and fine foodie sense, will not be appearing on the Hallmark channel as the anchor for her own daytime television show any longer. Entertainment Weekly spoke to the network and confirmed that the show starring the pet friendly celebrity herself is just one of a number of lifestyle theme TV shows belonging to the Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia brand, will cease production in April of 2012.
