A new celebrity death hoax hit the internet claiming actor and comedian Eddie Murphy is dead. How funny (not). The Beverly Hills Cop movie series star says he’s very much alive (even if he’s not hosting the Oscars). According to TMZ, “The frenzy was triggered by MediaFetcher.com. The site has been spinning bogus stories about other celebs they claim are dead but are not — including Jon Bon Jovi, Charlie Sheen, Adam Sandler, Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Bacon, Luke Perry, Jack Black, Will Smith, Jaden Smith, Tom Green, Tiger Woods, and George Clooney. Macho Man Randy Savage was one of the wrestling greats. He and good friend Hulk Hogan battled their way through fights on WWF and WWE back in the 80s and 90s like nothing could stand in their way. Latin beauty queen Eva Ekvall died from breast cancer on December 17th after an unsuccessful battle to treat her malady in the United States. A former Miss Venezuela turned actress and news anchor, died on that Saturday after showing her family and friends she bore the illness with both poise and grace. After being diagnosed, the former beauty queen and Latin icon used her star power wisely in her final days. She wrote a book after being diagnosed with breast cancer last year then used her public profile as an international celebrity to help raise public awareness about living with breast cancer as a life threatening disease.
