Brad Womack and Chris Harrison visit Henna School and make donation?

[Mar. 9]

The season 15 bachelor Brad Womack of the hit ABC reality television series “The Bachelor” and Host Chris Harrison, shared their story of giving back to the community through the show, on the “Women Tell All” episode that aired on March 7th, 2011.

The very emotional episode involved reactions from several bachelorettes towards Brad Womack’s behaviors on the show but mainly centered around how they, the bachelorettes felt about each other. But it was also about the reality TV show cast and staff striving to do good.

Many of the negative reactions were expressed by the bachelorettes towards Michelle Money and her wild antics to get the affections and alone time with Brad.  In what appeared to be an attempt to defuse the escalating drama, ABC chose to share the efforts by Brad Womack and Chris Harrison to help children in Africa – “The Bachelor” is full of green celebrities!

The video shared during the “Women Tell All” of Womack and Harrison’s charitable giving in South Africa was truly an emotional appeal to many.  The video detailed how Brad and Chris has visited a the Henna Pre-school to present them with the donation of a solar-powered water heater.

Up until that moment, the teacher of the Henna Pre-school shared they were unable to provide the children with heated water for their daily use – way to use your star power Chris Harrison and Brad Womack!  The children, as the teacher expressed, would have warm water as an option for meals and other necessities for the first time ever – something that many of us in the United States take for granted.

Video and photos of green celebrities Chris Harrison and Brad Womack depicted them spending time with the children, playing sports, and discussing the benefits of the solar-powered water heater with the Henna School’s teacher.

It was nice to see that The Bachelor Gives Back program is actually making a difference in the lives of children across the world and that host Chris Harrison and recycled bachelor Brad Womack enjoyed themselves with the children as seasoned green celebrities!
