Celebrity OOPS! Bobbi Kristina Brown busted for drugs use — not by the police but by the media? While the tabloids regularly report the news that her celebrity parents Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown regularly put their lives in danger by using drugs that could easily cause their untimely celebrity death, no one but guidance counselors really seemed to see this one coming. The celebrity teen daughter of the star celebs seems to already be fighting addiction battles of her own. What’s Hollywood coming to when kids like her can’t see the very real damage hard drug uses causes to people lifestyles, careers, and family at home?
If it’s not Whitney Houston herself getting into trouble, these days it’s daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown. Now 18 and following in her mother’s scary and self-destructive footsteps, she’s decided to become a drug user apparently. The celebrity child of Houston and singer Bobby Brown, now divorced from one another, is still at it, according to Perez Hilton. In March, The National Enquirer released a photo of Bobbi Kristina snorting what appeared to be cocaine, which Bobby Brown initially said couldn’t be true. Now Perez Hilton is saying Bobbi Kristina is in trouble for alcohol and guns, and she could be facing a six month jail sentence.
But this slide into depravity has been a long way coming, sources say. Website Truthquake.com reports an ex-boyfriend of Bobbi Kristina says she’s been slipping into patterns entirely too much like her mother for months. If it’s not cocaine or alcohol, it’s smoking pot and popping pills. Reportedly she’s also been very friendly with Montana Fishburne, the 19-year-old porn star daughter of Laurence Fishburne. The ex-boyfriend has said that Bobbi Kristina is no stranger to sex either. At just 18 years old, she’s had over 30 partners, he said.
Reportedly mom isn’t really helping the situation either. The ex-boyfriend supposedly says Whitney Houston protects Krissi from criticism, allows the barely legal teen to drink at home and take pills, and generally is a bad influence on the celebrity kid. According to The National Enquirer, mom Whitney Houston tried to get Krissi to move away from some bad influences, which Bobby Brown last month admitted Krissi had been exposed to. Whitney Houston took Krissi out of Atlanta and on to L.A. to star in a reality show there, but Krissi reportedly has fallen in with a similar crowd and has expressed interest in making her own porn.
And now we hear more reports of alcohol abuse and, of all things, guns. We hesitate to ask what kind of trouble Bobbi Kristina is getting into with guns, and so far there is no comment from either dad, Bobby Brown, or mom, Whitney Houston. We imagine dad is going to continue to stick up for his little girl like he did in his interview with People and mom is going to keep quiet.
It’s unfortunate that celebrity kids get exposed to bad influences and put on display when they’re caught, but it may be the only way to save a young person going down the wrong path. Certainly enough people have been there to advise against it. Hasn’t Krissi already seen what kind of trouble her mom has landed in?
