Kara DioGuardi claims Paula Abdul pot brownies wicked?

[May 26]

While former American Idol judges Kara DioGuardi and Paula Abdul were often portrayed by the tabloid media and bitter rivals during their short time evaluating the competition, the two star celebs were actually roomies for a bit before Kara ever joined the show. Kara DioGuardi revealed some wicked funny marijuana use secrets to late night talk show host George Lopez. Kara disced the juicy gossip about herself and Paula Abdul on Lopez Tonight on Wednesday to push her new show, “Platinum Hit”. Yes sir — a reefer madness pusher that American Idol judge Kara and her celebrity chef cheerleader turned X Factor mentor Paula Abdul. Both female celebrities are considered somking hot in Hollywood social circles — and the medical marijuana mixup made most Hollywood insiders laugh (including George Lopez).

Huffington Post retold the hot celebrity gossip about the two cute celebrity stoners, saying:

DioGuardi, the short-lived “Idol” judge, told the host about a certain baked good she ingested while Abdul was on vacation. Let’s just say chocolate wasn’t the featured ingredient in the treat.

“There were these, little nuggets, little, you know, take six, not a lot. Six hours later I was like, ‘heeeey, what’s going on?'” DioGuardi remembered. “I fell out of bed, on the floor, I stumbled downstairs and I was like, ‘I ate too much.’ And the ambulance comes and is like, ‘this b*tch is as high as a kite.'”

The end result? Three days in the hospital, hallucinations and IV fluids. But it could have been worse.

“The maid took them out, she was in the hospital, I had six, I almost died,” she said.

But no worries: the brownies didn’t belong to Abdul, she said; instead, a friend had left them there after a party. What were actually in those brownies, though, remains unknown.

Kara DioGuardi did not stop dishing dirt about her Hollywood friends when she told America about her marijuana adventures with Paula Abdul as celebrity chef. The ex American Idol judge also talked more to George Lopez about her close, personal friendship with rock and roll legend Steven Tyler of the band Aerosmith — and how she got him the “American Idol” job. And, of course, there was more chit chat and small talk about her new show, Platinum Hit… but most of the at-home viewers watching the celebrity interview were either too busy laughing to remember what the show is about and when it is or too stoned not to forget.
