DWTS 2011 Results: Chelsea Kane lost despite Disney Princess fan support

DWTS 2011 Results SHOCKER!

Chelsea Kane lost Dancing With The Stars even with Disney fan support?

[May 24 — Twitter TV Audience Crowd Reaction Quotes]

In a huge upset, Disney Princess Chelsea Kane and partner Mark Ballas wound up in third place on the 2011 season of Dancing with the Stars [DWTS Season 12]. The pair had an incredible run and were favored to win the competition, though Hines Ward and Kirstie Alley both were incredible competition. Ballas and Kane, being one of the youngest pairs of competitors on the dance floor all season, had some of the most energetic and acrobatic routines. From their jive, which Len Goodman criticized as not having enough jive quality, to their samba, with Chelsea Kane sporting an orange spangled ensemble, Team Kanenball took youth and energy to the floor all night long. That they lost to Hines Ward and Kirstie Alley is surprising, since they chose for their final dance the Harry Potter Waltz for a second time, which easily was one of their signature dances during the competition. They got all tens from the judges, a perfect score, but the voting audience was not as confident. Ultimately, Hines Ward and partner Kym Johnson won the competition, with Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy coming in second place. All three pairs of competitors earned perfect scores from the judges, but the audience hearts and minds went to Hines and Kym.

Chelsea Kane and Mark Ballas Samba sizzling hot?

[May 23]

Shoulda had a speed limit…” was the assessment of the sizzling hot Samba by Chelsea Kane and Mark Ballas said Tom Bercheron. As the first dance number to kick off finals week on DWTS 2011, the competition bar standard was set high and the performers did not disappoint. Watch the video link of the May 23rd performance and you will surely agree that fast and hot was right. Judge Carrie Ann Inaba gave Chelsea Kane a private dance lesson about how to be feminine and sexy. Fortunately, it did not include pole dancing or lap dancing or the Disney Princess act simply would not have been as scintillating right.

Scores for the first dance of the final round of DWTS 2011 were nearly perfect. Carrie Ann gave the celebrity couple a 10, Len gave his typical buzz kill score of 9, and lively Bruno proudly posted a 10.

To heck with the judges scores, thought professional dancer and choreographer Mark Ballas when he created an enchanted waltz theme for celebrity contestant Chelsea Kane. Gorgeous. Beautiful. What more can a person say about this perfect Waltz, featured on Dancing With The Stars and later as a video review by PopCrunch, with a twist of modernity lent by the theme from Harry Potter? Len can say whatever he wants about the routine wrecking 300 years of traditional waltz interpretation, but Bruno and Carrie Ann carried the sentiment with the night, agreeing that Team Kanenball’s routine was “magical”.
