Hugh Hefner not stuck on Crystal Harris says sticker on July 2011 Playboy magazine cover?

Playboy founder Hugh Hefner was supposed to take a new bride this June — and gave his fiancee the July cover of his magazine to show the world the new Mrs. Crystal Hefner. Three days before the scheduled nuptials, the twenty something year old bride shared a post on her official blog saying she and Hef were not going to be married. 85-year-old Hef followed up with a tweet to confirm that Crystal Harris had a change of heart and the ceremony and private wedding reception that was scheduled to entertain 300 of the celebrity couple’s closest friends was officially off. Now, with the next edition of the Playboy mag already printed and waiting to release to the press, Hugh Hefner — a man who many people love while others love to hate — has conclusively demonstrated his marketing genius. He’s ordered all the July 2011 editions of his famous men’s magazine be shipped out with a big, fat sticker proclaiming the issue the “Runaway Bride” edition. Actor Richard Gere and actress Julia Roberts have yet to comment on the parody of their hit romantic comedy — but who wouldn’t get a smile and feel a bit sad for Hugh Hefner? After all — to jilt the world’s most legendary playboy just days before he was willing to settle down and be a husband again (likely for the rest of his life) has to sting his ego a little.
Regarding the magazine Runaway Bride edition, like the Marilyn Monroe issue it is sure to become a collectors item if preserved in mint condition. The celebrity gossip website She Knows revealed:
In the wake of his very public break-up with ex-fiance Crystal Harris, just three days before their wedding, Hugh Hefner has altered the image of the latest issue of Playboy. Oh yeah, Harris is on the cover.
Hefner said Wednesday that he is smacking “Runaway Bride” stickers over his ex’s picture on the cover of the magazine’s upcoming issue. This comes just days after Hefner, 85, announced that his 25-year-old bride-to-be had “a change of heart,” thus canceling the Saturday ceremony at the Playboy Mansion in LA.
The July Playboy issue hits newsstands Friday and describes the covergirl Harris as “America’s Princess … Mrs. Crystal Hefner.”
Quite the celebrity OOPS — but a blunder that will no doubt be a marketing coup. The only bummer is that all the gifts the couple requested as wedding gifts were to be made as donations for charity. As such, lets hope Hugh Hefner elects to donate some of the special edition profits to non-profit organizations as part of his commitment to being a green celebrity.
“[Wedding guests were] asked to donate to either St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, anti-child prostitution organisation Children of the Night and charity: water, which aims to provide clean drinking water to poor communities…” shared Monsters and Critics.

And, believe it or not, Hugh Hefner has donated a ton of cash to a variety of humanitarian causes. In addition to helping real people, Hugh Hefner is an avidly pet friendly celebrity. The Playboy Mansion — the celebrity home he calls his own and welcomes famous Hollywood star celebs to with generous and lavish hospitality regularity — is stocked with exotic animals that are cared for as if living in one of the world’s finest zoo facilities and the house and grounds are further kept pristine for common household pets. He also personally funds the care and maintenance of the world-famous Hollywood sign that welcomes everyone to the Hollywood Hills. Who knew Hugh Hefner was so cool? His celebrity friends, that’s for sure.
