Kris Humphries swears his TV party just a ratings scam for Kardashians?

Kris Humphries doesn’t want Kim Kardashian cash, so why the public divorce? In spite of Kris Humphries claiming that his 72 day marriage to reality television diva and charitable philanthropist Kim Kardashian was a complete sham some rumors mills are reporting the marriage might have been real. But many of those claims the her defense are suspicious, especially because the basketball player is claiming every stupid move he made in the relationship during each episode of the show was planned by his wife and the show producers to up the Keeeping Up With The Kardashians spin-off ratings.

Kris Humphries says Kim Kardashian reality TV shows a scamKris Humphries and his lawyers want the annullment (rather than a divorce) because he claims that his wife Kim Kardashian took him emotionally to the cleaners simply so she could up her TV ratings. On her new show Kim & Koutney Take New York he comes across like a chump — but claims each and every decision he made innocently on reality TV was actually staged and directed by the producers and his wife so that the girls could get high ratings for the new spin-off show.

For example, Humphries now claim that the huge party he had in the Kardashian sisters hotel room was a trap. He swears that when hos estranged wife told him on camera while filming the reality TV show he was to have no parties while she was going out for business, it was a lie. According to the NBA player, the whole “drama” was pretend. He claims Kim Kardashian was in a room next door, not on a business trip as she and the show producers say.

He’s so interested in the general public knowing the truth about the show and the Karsadian family that he wants all the court proceedings televised on live TV — not giving them the chance to creatively edit the footage and add in extra clips to make the famous sisters look better than they do in all reality.

Humphries says he threw the party that got hyped on social media networks intentionally to create a pretend scandal. His big doofy act where he looks like a party boy living the high life while abusing his rich wife’s trust was to up the television show ratings at her production team’s request.

It was all a promotion for the show, he claimed, and Kim K was leading the con on it. All her overly dramatized response to him hosting a party in her hotel room was (what he thought) her acting. And really, if you think about it… who throws a party that is supposed to be a huge secret you keep from your wife then make it a featured episode for reality TV? Anyone intelligent would have to realize that in no way did he expect the Kardashian family would not see.

Hollywood Life reported:

If Kim Kardashian‘s divorce turns into a courtroom TV drama, it won’t be because of her! HollywoodLife.com spoke with Kim’s fellow Kourtney & Kim Take New York star, Jonathan Cheban on Feb. 9 at the Diet Pepsi Style Studio Fashion Show and he revealed what he thought of Kris’ Access Hollywood interview and why he thinks it’s shocking Kris wants to battle with Kim in the public eye!

The rumor mills had said the divorce proceedings to take place in Los Angeles likely would be made public (and televised). But in spite of Kris Humphries’ desire to air the divorce proceedings online, Kim Kardashian has said she wants a private mediation away from the cameras.

Gee… we wonder why.

According to The Envelope earlier this week:

“A public trial is the last thing that Kim wants, and she has instructed her lawyer to formally petition the court so that the divorce can be heard by a mediator,” a Kardashian source told the Radar Online. “She wants the mediation to be private, confidential, and legally binding. … Kim just wants this over and done with.”

Kris Humphries may feel burned and may want to see Kardashian’s whole reality television show go under, but Kim Kardashian (and presumably momager Kris Jenner) are having nothing to do with it. Is it all because Kris Humphries couldn’t get his million dollar ring back? Perhaps. But furthermore, TMZ had a little different take on the showdown.

They are making the case for Kim Kardashian that it is plausible she actually was not faking her interest in doing anything but using the tall basketball player to over-hype a fake relationship.

TMZ broke the following news earlier in the week as a possible defense that will be offered up by her legal team:

Another big point in Kim’s favor … We’ve learned the prenup is extremely long and complicated … accounting for what would happen years into the future. Why would she go through the time and trouble of having a long prenup if she planned on pulling the plug on the marriage within a few months?

So, what do you think? Is Kris Humphries playing to the cameras (possibly to make a little more cash in the process)? Or is he insisting on a public divorce hearing to tell the truth about humanitarian celeb Kim Kardashian. It’s been said that Kris Humphries really doesn’t like the celeb camera lifestyle. Is that just another lie he’s telling so they both can make even more money off the free publicity or does he really want America to know they are watching acting — not reality TV?
