Why was Hugh Hefner ranting on Twitter about Lindsay Lohan pics?

Disney Princess Lindsay Lohan has been in and out of the limelight the past ten years for a mix of good performance and off camera antics that would have sunk better careers. Now, the former teen scene celebrity has taken it all off and posed for Playboy magazine. She is the 2011 Holiday cover girl, perched nude straddling a bunny ear chair backwards so all people in the store glancing at it can see is a lot of skinny leg and cleavage. But that’s not the biggest part of the story. Someone leaked the photos of LiLo from her modeling session online and everyone is googling to see what is so racy? Keep reading…

Hugh Hefner not stuck on Crystal Harris says sticker on July 2011 Playboy magazine cover?

[Jun. 16]

Playboy founder Hugh Hefner was supposed to take a new bride this June — and gave his fiancee the July cover of his magazine to show the world the new Mrs. Crystal Hefner. Three days before the scheduled nuptials, the twenty something year old bride shared a post on her official blog saying she and Hef were not going to be married. 85-year-old Hef followed up with a tweet to confirm that Crystal Harris had a change of heart and the ceremony and private wedding reception that was scheduled to entertain 300 of the celebrity couple’s closest friends was officially off. Now, with the next edition of the Playboy mag already printed and waiting to release to the press, Hugh Hefner — a man who many people love while others love to hate — has conclusively demonstrated his marketing genius. He’s ordered all the July 2011 editions of his famous men’s magazine be shipped out with a big, fat sticker proclaiming the issue the “Runaway Bride” edition. Actor Richard Gere and actress Julia Roberts have yet to comment on the parody of their hit romantic comedy — but who wouldn’t get a smile and feel a bit sad for Hugh Hefner? After all — to jilt the world’s most legendary playboy just days before he was willing to settle down and be a husband again (likely for the rest of his life) has to sting his ego a little.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Playboy Mansion with Bunnies kid friendly?

[Apr. 22]

Here’s some strange holiday weekend news for ya… did you know that every year, Playboy founder Hugh Hefner throws an Easter Egg hunt at the Playboy Mansion that seriously outdoes the one at the White House? That is, if you measure the kid friendly even in terms of bunny sightings.

The Playboy bunnies from various eras got together and brought their celebrity children (you know — the ones that are NOT famous because mom posed in the nudie magazine and might not have gone on to do more or less spectacular things).

The kids were treated to an Easter Egg hunt featuring actress Pamela Anderson and rock and roll star Gene Simmons (movie star of reality TV fame and lead singer for the rock band KISS).

How, exactly, Hef chose to further tie in the bunny theme with Easter in any of the mansion rooms away from the kids is not quite clear (thankfully), but suffice it to say that if you peruse the photo gallery of the 2011 Playboy Mansion Easter Egg Hunt here, the only person looking lascivious seemed to be Gene Simmons.

Looking for a little bunny tail, perhaps, while he was a house guest?
