With a recently released solo album, being the long time lead singer for the Pussycat Dolls, Mirror Ball Trophy winner of the 2010 television season of Dancing With the Stars, songwriter, and occasional actress Nicole Scherzinger can now add title of Judge for the 2011 television season of X Factor (USA) to her impressive resume. Following weeks of rumors, Fox FREMANTLEMEDIA NORTH AMERICA AND SYCO TV made its official announcement June 6 that Scherzinger will indeed join former American Idol judge Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid, and Paula Abdul on their search across America to find the next global superstar or group to win the life-changing $5 million dollar recording deal. Amazingly enough, this Pussycat caught wind of the change in her position from host to judge while reading her daily SUN. Should be a piece of cake for this veteran considering Nicole Scherzinger has previously joined Simon Cowell as a guest judge on The X Factor UK back in 2010, right? Let’s hope so, because rumors swirling on June 7 and 8 were that Cheryl Cole got fired in her first weeks for having thin skin and a weak constitution (physically and emotionally). Battling clinical depression and a mean case of the blues, Cheryl Cole allegedly did not get along with perky Nicole Scherzinger. Adding the age old odd-man-out triangle scenario between Cole, Scherzinger, and fellow judge Paula Abdul, Nicole was moves from role of host to judge while Cheryl Cole was kicked off.

Sounds like Eminem (a.k.a. Marshall Mathers) has caught a little Bieber Fever of his own — of the ill will variety. While green celebrity humanitarian and pet friendly activist Justin Bieber was between appearances at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards and the 2011 CMT Awards (for country music fans), the rapper who does not pull punches was busy getting his name in the press over venting about the Biebs and also pop music star Lady Gaga to his fans. The hard-hitting rapper from Detroit has gone back to his old ways on his new track, A Kiss, hurling insults at the stars around him. This time Slim Shady is aiming for the Biebs and Lady Gaga. He referred to Justin Bieber as somehow evil and hints that star celeb Lady Gaga is a hermaphrodite, reported USA Today. But the track comes off as relatively soft, compared to some of the blasts Eminem has fired at former star celebs like Christopher Reeves and Moby. The whole schtick has left a lot of people (including morning news media on June 9) wondering if Eminem is just losing ground to Bieber Fever and is simply riding coattails to prop up his own record sales.
