Green News: 25 best cities to visit if you love air pollution? (Travel Advisory)

Top 25 best cities to live in or visit on vacation if you love air pollution?

[May 4]

Talk about your anti-travel incentive. The American Lung Association have released their report on the 25 worst cities to live in thanks to poor air quality, and the results were surprising. Most of the top 10 cities on the list were actually places in the great state of California many people craving a vacation trip out west would love to visit!

For the past 12 years, the American Lung Association (ALA) has tirelessly analyzed data from Unites States air quality monitors. Their goal is the same each year: to compile the State of the Air report and help keep Americans and tourists with breathing difficulties which places in the USA are the worst.

“The more you learn about the air you breathe, the more you can protect your health and take steps to make our air cleaner and healthier…” say the ALA reps.

Breathing polluted air, even if you do not have a chronic lung condition like asthma, COPD [Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disorder], or major allergies to airborne pollens and environmental pollutants can seriously harm your health and even shorten your life.

The State of the Air is an air quality report card on urban and rural air pollution in communities across the country. The list compiled below reflects those cities across the United States with the worst year round particle pollutants, meaning no matter what season of the year you reside there or chose to visit, chances are the overall air quality is going to be *cough gasp* terrible.

President Obama on Oprah to refute Donald Trump, hides bin Laden intel?

Elections 2012!

President Obama and First Lady appear on Oprah to discount Trump week before verifying Osama Bin Laden is dead?

[May 1]

President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama appeared on Oprah just hours after the White House released the long form birth certificate last week, demonstrating that President Obama was indeed born in Hawaii — and not Kenya as both Donald Trump, his own wife, and grandmother had claimed. Some continue to criticize the president, saying that he should have released the birth certificate earlier. But most now have begun pulling their punches about the place of birth at least, and are expected to do so with increasing respectfulness now that Obama has released the information requested by Donald Trump and the Tea Party and he made a formal announcement that Osama Bin Laden is dead.

The president, somewhat jokingly, said that he knew he was born in Hawaii, because he was there and he remembered it. First Lady Michelle Obama cut in: “He was born here,” she exclaimed with a laugh, to a cheering audience. This was said in spite of evidence where long before the candidacy, Michelle Obama had proudly claimed in a public speech cause on video tape that her husband Barack Obama was in fact born in Kenya. And yes — the whole issue, whether you like President Obama or not — is disconcerting to say the least.

Royal Wedding Trivia: Threat of rain on parade did not dampen spirits?

Royal Wedding Trivia!

What was the weather like for the parade on Kate and William’s special day?

[Apr. 29]

Londoners are well familiar with rainy days, and the threat of rain looming did not stop the royal wedding revelries at all. Historically, the forecasts showed only a 30% chance of scattered showers the evening before and on the day of the wedding. Rain or shine, people are prepared to handle wet weather in London any day of the years, as were Kate Middleton and Prince William. According to The Royal Forums, the couple was prepared to lead the procession to Buckingham Palace in the Glass Coach, should the weather have turned foul. Bystanders would not have been so lucky if it had rained (of course), but they seemed stoked about the royal wedding parade even if they were worried about a downpour.
