Election 2012: Jesse Ventura says Sarah Palin will be elected President?

Election 2012!

Jesse Ventura predicts reality television star Sarah Palin will run for United States President and become the first female president elected?

[Apr. 10]

Jesse Ventura, famed Minnesota governor and former WWE wrestler, is saying Sarah Palin probably will win the presidency if she runs. Sadly, Ventura’s prediction may be right. Elections are far more about popularity and media coverage today than they were in the past, and Sarah Palin is practically a household name.

Jesse Ventura believes Sarah Palin will be far more likely to be manipulated by the powers that be than current President Barack Obama. To that end, Sarah Palin having her own reality television series Sarah Palin’s Alaska is a step in the direction of media saturation needed for a successful bid for the presidency.

Digital Spy reports:

“They’re grooming her for it, she’s got a TV show,” Jesse Ventura said. “It seems that elections today are more popularity than they are substantial issues.”

“[Sarah Palin would] be perfect. She’s the type of person that certainly will be controlled by the status quo and the power structure. So she’d make a perfect candidate for them, she’ll do what she’s told.”

Jesse Ventura has no particular love for Sarah Palin. He just believes the Republican Party is grooming her for the presidency. He’s been outspoken of his feelings for her before, calling Palin a quitter and accusing her of abandoning Alaskans by quitting mid-term.

Bill Cosby slams Donald Trump over presidential political scandal?

Celebrity Scandal!

Actor Bill Cosby slammed Celebrity Apprentice host Donald Trump over presidential political scandal public comments?

[Apr. 9]

Green celebrity actor and comedian Bill Cosby knocked tycoon Donald Trump on Thursday’s edition of the Today show during a talk about education. Cosby stunned hostess Meredith Vieira when she mentioned having an upcoming election and that Donald Trump had just been on the show with her.

Donald Trump has been toying with the idea of running for president, but has said he will not announce anything until June 2011. Trump recently has been outspoken with criticism of President Barack Obama over questions of the president’s citizenship.

When the Today show hostess made mention of the upcoming election and that Donald Trump has been considering running, Cosby interrupted and said, “Oh, please with Donald Trump. Take him home with you.”

Asked why he said that, Cosby responded, “Because he’s full of it,” stunning the hostess into several seconds of silence.

The Today show hostess finally got her bearings and countered that Donald Trump has said he is not ready to announce running for president, to which Bill Cosby said that anyone can announce. Cosby made mention of someone on the Smothers Brothers show years ago announcing a run for president.

“You run, or shut up. But the only thing he’s running is his mouth,” Cosby said.

Glenn Beck Show: Did FOX cancel because he’s nuts or is he just moving on?

Television News!

Did FOX cancel the Glenn Beck Show because he is nuts or is he simply moving on with his next career goals?

[Apr. 9]

Fox News, along with Mercury Radio Arts, the company Glenn Beck founded, announced Thursday that The Glenn Beck Show on Fox News will be canceled later this year. Fox News has seen a 30 percent drop in ratings for the Glenn Beck Show amid accusations that Fox News has become an outlet for the Republican Party rather than an independent and unbiased news source, says NewStaar Media.

But celebrity newscaster Glenn Beck hasn’t quit just yet. He and Fox News still are on good terms. According to the Business Insider, Beck told Bill O’Reilly on The O’Reilly Factor that Fox still was the only cable outlet from which to offer cable news. Nevertheless, Beck said that times are changing and hinted that media must change with it.

Glenn Beck told Bill O’Reilly during a recent celebrity interview:

“We have to reach different audiences, we have to reach younger.”

“So now what? Well, its not enough for me to say, as a citizen, ‘You know what? You go out and help people. You do it.’ Its time for me to do that as well.”

According to GlennBeck.com, Beck’s production company, Mercury Radio Arts, will continue to work with Fox News on a new partnership where Beck will assist with development and production of a variety of television show productions for Fox News as well as other digital media holdings. No details were given on what the partnership might look like for Glenn Beck or Fox News.
