Independence Day American Flag theme coloring pages fun activity for families with kids —

[Jun. 4]

The Independence Day holiday is sure to bring many family and friends together from coast to coast. Planning events for large groups of visitors can be very hectic and time-consuming. Take the time now to schedule fun group activities that includes all ages. With all of the traditional activities that come to mind, backyard barbeques, tons of fireworks, local parades, be sure to include educational value and make sure your child learns all that he or she can about this historical past time! The American flag in all its glory is without a doubt duplicated by all, young and old, in remembrance of the families that have dedicated their time, efforts, and many times their lives to uphold its values! The American flag also holds a great deal of pride and admiration for many. An example of this can be seen on the timeless Rocky movie series, starring Sylvester Stallone, where he proudly parades the ring in his American flag inspired red, white, and blue shorts or draping himself in the American flag. Adding this classic movie to your activities is sure to be a hit with guests! Letting older kids and adults color on coloring pages that were printed on recycled copy paper (to make them more eco-friendly, of course) while watching the classic Americana movie makes an afternoon of evening holiday activity the best.
