Miley Cyrus news reports quote dad Billy Ray Cyrus saying he wishes Hannah Montana Disney television show never happened?

Family members often tend to play the blame game. But you would think that celebrities would at least keep that out of the media. Disney Channel star, Miley Cyrus, born Destiny Hope Cyrus, and AKA Hannah Montana, is playing the family blame game with her and her father, Billy Ray Cyrus are playing the family blame game in public.
Miley Cyrus recently came out publicly saying she has smoked Savila, allegedly a legal herb to smoke in the United States — after pictures emerged showing the racy teen caught in the act.
She has also been showing off her recent tattoos, been chastised for pole dancing in Daisey Duke shorts and high heeled boots in fornt of a childrens audience at the Teen Choice Awards, and posed in various states of undress for more than 100 racy photos.
Eighteen years old, the Disney princess is friends with Demi Lovato, another Disney princess in the headlines for personal struggles with addiction. While Demi Lovato just got out of celebrity rehab, Miley Cryus has not been yet.
Her hero is Britney Spears. Sadly, it seems like the people at Disney have ruined the life of another promising Disney Princess by failing to include air tight morality clauses in their entertainment contracts.
Now, country music singer and D-Listed actor celebrity dad Billy Ray Cyrus has actually gone as far as saying:
“I wish Hannah Montana never happened.”
As a parent he had to consent for everything that Miley Cyrus has done to now. Does he regret having made these decisions?
He admits:
“Well, I’m the first guy to say to [other parents] right now: You were right. I should have been a better parent.”
He actually went as far as to compare Miley Cyrus to Kurt Cobain, Michael Jackson, and Anna Nicole Smith. Do her behaviors compare? Let’s hope someone gets through to this young lady before the only racy pictures we see of her come from a camera phone in a trailer park or from Paparazzi who snap a pic of the distressed dad putting a final rose on her celebrity funeral casket.

Impulsive behaviors and family relationships are all interconnected. Communication at all levels needs to be addressed. Miley Cyrus, with her father’s consent started her acting and singing career at an early age as a Disney Princess. As such, she has been exposed to all that comes with being a celebrity in Hollywood. With friends like Demi Lovato at her side, she is also exposed to behaviors other teens are exhibiting. This is not to say that Demi has caused Miley’s behaviors. However, it becomes easier for teens to engage in problematic behaviors when their friends go along with it. Demi struggling with addiction herself cannot offer fair judgments for Miley. As a parent, Billy Ray Cyrus needs to offer Miley support during this time, in the from of honest communication and avoid playing the blame game. What message does this send to a child if you are avoiding responsibility as a parent?
