The Oscars 2011, are scheduled for Sunday, February 27th, 2011 at 8pm EST on ABC. Hollywood celebs worldwide will be in attendance at the 83rd annual Academy Awards. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences puts together nominations from movies they feel represent the best of the best in Hollywood movie talents, including actors, musical score, art direction, and documentaries – artists they feel are worthy of the Oscars. Some of the nominees, potential Academy Award winners include actor Colin Firth up for a best actor in a leading role academy award for the movie “The King’s Speech”, up for a Best Picture nomination. So far, with several nominations, “The King’s Speech” is a fan favorite.
The competition is tough though with contender, the movie “Black Swan” starring Natalie Portman, with a nomination for Best actress in a leading role. Red carpet fashion will be hot with the latest fashion design. Many Hollywood fans are hoping previous winner, Sandra Bullock, winner of an Academy Award for her perfromance in “Blind Side” will be at the ceremony. Hosts actor James Franco (with a nomination for Best actor in a leading role for his movie “127 Hours” and actress Anne Hathaway will put on a awesome show!
