Biebs new haircut hot or not in teen celebrity land?

[Feb. 24]

So Justin Bieber got his new haircut on the set where he was filming a new music video with Rascal Flatts. He argued that he needed to “change it up” and that the new haircut looks more “mature”. Many agree that the new haircut looks more mature, but many more of his fans are stuck on the Beatles style bowl cut. They can’t get enough of it. Like Jennifer Aniston, Justin Bieber has created his own hair style that fans all over have tried to imitate. Maybe he should run with it and call it The Biebs. And fans are wondering if Bieber may grow his hair back out as he has in the past.

Biebs, oh Biebs, why hast thou forsaken us?

Celebrity Hairstyles — the Biebs new haircut makes Beatles bangs un-cool?

[Feb. 21]

Gen Me singing celebrity teen star Justin Bieber has traded in his trademark bowl-shaped hairstyle for a fresher, bolder looking haircut. The new haircut is more tossed and shaggy, freer perhaps than the haircut fans are used to. He got the haircut on the set of a music video he is shooting with Rascal Flatts. Justin Bieber made a stir last year when he got a haircut that freshened things up a bit and left fans gawking. Now, fans aren’t sure what to think of Bieber.

On TMZ Live today, Justin said the actual cutting was done by his regular hairdresser Vanessa. He said he was a little nervous about the cut, but he “wanted to change it up” and he thought the cut was “kind of a mature look.”

Justin Bieber recently was killed off in the latest episode of CSI, where he played troubled teen and villainous heartthrob Jason McCann. In the final episode, Bieber was still sporting his eye-hovering bowl style haircut, but that now has changed. Justin Bieber apparently is looking to grow up a bit. Bieber has said in an interview that, while his first love is still music and singing, he’s very much interested in taking on some other acting roles. Maybe Bieber’s new haircut has something to do with that. We only can speculate.

Whether Bieber is planning to pursue some new television (or maybe even film) roles, fans can look forward to his new haircut and his appearance with a new music video with Rascal Flatts. A lot of fans probably would like to see him make a reappearance on CSI next season, or maybe on one of the several CSI spin-offs, but there is no news about that. Bieber has given no indication of what sort of acting he might like to pursue. But no doubt about it — given the hoopla over the pop star’s new haircut, Bieber fever is alive and well … and maybe just a bit hotter than before, with the “mature” new haircut.

Hayden Panettiere to star as Foxy Knoxy (Amanda Knox) on Lifetime channel?

[Feb. 21]

Hayden Panettiere, best known for her role as Claire Bennet, the cheerleader who has miracle healing powers in the NBC hit series Heroes, is slated to star as Amanda Knox (a.k.a. Foxy Knoxy), the now 22-year-old American student accused of murdering her British roommate, Meredith Kercher, while the two resided in Italy. The film will premiere on the Lifetime channel later this month, and the Hollywood gossip surrounding the latest news updates on the tragic story have kept the topic on Google trending.

Why? Because it seems Knox’ parents are protesting the film, saying it could hurt Amanda Knox’ chances on appeal. Knox, and her co-defendants, boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito and a third killer, Rudy Guede, are all currently awaiting an appeal trial regarding the murder. Furthermore, Panettiere is of Italian descent, which may lend itself to the controversy.

Meredith Kercher’s family doesn’t seem to like it any more. “A gruesome murder sequence in Lifetime’s “The Amanda Knox Story” has reportedly been cut after Amanda Knox’s and Meredith Kercher’s family complained about the scene,” reports The New York Daily News.
