Humanitarian celebrities: Who is Eva Green and why is she famous?

Actress Eva Green is a pet friendly celebrity. She is also a humanitarian. You might remember seeing her in the James Bond movie Casino Royal where she played the love interest of 007 [played by ab-tastic actor Daniel Craig] back in 2006. The French actress is the talk of Europe right now, promoting her role in the romantic comedy Perfect Sense and for her role in Camelot.

Her name is in the green celebrity news for donating shoes to a humanitarian cause spearheaded by none other than American starlet Sarah Jessica Parker. She, Rachel Weisz (the Mummy series actress who recently married pal Daniel Craig at a private wedding ceremony), and Parker used their fashion sense to raise money to help the Small Steps Project, “a charity raising awareness about children and families living on rubbish dumps around the world.”

Eva Green CelebrityAccording to the Insider, the non-profit organization was founded by former Vogue celebrity journalist Amy Hanson. In an effort to respond to humanitarian need for relief, “the charity delivers shoes and hygiene kits to these children, and also brings attention to the cause through documentaries and various campaigns…” says the entertainment news source.

Eva Green is a pet owner who considers herself a multi-culturalist. IMDb reveals, “Since her school years Green has been a cosmopolitan multilingual and multicultural person… Her other activities outside of acting include playing and composing music, cooking at home, walking her terrier, and collecting art.”

Celebrity bios reveal she currently owns two celebrity homes, one is in Paris, France, and the other in London, England. As such, she is better known in Europe than in Hollywood, as Los Angeles sightings are infrequent.

Another pet friendly star is also donating shoes to the Small Steps Project — actress Sienna Miller, ex-girlfriend of actor Jude Law. A fellow dog owner, she is routinely spotted taking her pampered pet for long walks.
