ABC News claims Kim Kardashian hated by Hollywood peers, why?

ABC News roasted Kim Kardashian as the most hated celeb in Hollywood. Why is the reality television star catching so much flack from blogger and the mainstream media? In the culture of Hollywood celebrities, ABC News says reality TV star known form her keen fashion sense and devotion to promoting charitable causes is as popular as the flu and checked-baggage fees.

Kim Kardashian most hated celebIt might have been a long holiday weekend and the writers from ABC News might have been feeling a little punchy, but they seem to have picked up a new trend in entertainment news: hating on Kim Kardashian. She’s cute, she’s a world famous philanthropist, and she is like the goose that laid the golden egg in terms of Kris Jenner getting the attention of the paparazzi for her clan. So why all the negative press lately for Kim K and her famous family members who are featured on the hit television show Keeping Up With The Kardashians?

It seems the press does not like to be duped by anyone seeking fame and fortune by making up stories. And that is exactly what the most famous Kardashian sister has been accused of doing. When she got engaged to promote her romance and engagement on reality TV, fans and the media loved following her story. Her show actually set viewer records and got her rival Paris Hilton’s show kicked off air.

When she got married on television as part of her own reality TV special, all the star celebs who attended the wedding and were obligated to buy the celebrity couple lavish gifts thought something was sketchy. When she filed for a divorce 72 days after getting married, many members of the press corps seemed to scream, “Whoa, Nellie…” while stars like talk show host Joy Behar quipped they wished they had not been forced to spend money on gifts.

But her history of how she handled things before the wedding, during the wedding, and when filing for a divorce were never a career-ending question. Instead, new rumors are swirling that because she’s using the marriage crisis and divorce proceedings to up ratings on her upcoming reality TV series that has all the press who faithfully promoted her and her show gasping.

In an article titled Keeping Up With The Kardashians Hatred ABC News took aim at Kim K, saying, “The ratings of her latest show may be up, but Kim Kardashian‘s real-world popularity remains about as high as that of the flu and checked-baggage fees.”

Listing off a range of star celebs who seem to hate the Kardashian money-making machine, they noted Daniel Craig just voiced very colorful remarks about the reality television stars. So did late night TV talk show host Chelsea Handler. Barack Obama thrashed them (albeit politely). And, even though Barbara Walters just named them on her list of the most fascinating people of 2011 their names were thrown into the pot almost in jest.

[Last year even Snooki from Jersey Shore made that list when Barbara Walters put the cast of Jersey Shore on her greatest 2010 media hits.]

Why did the actor Daniel Craig (who plays the James Bond character 007) roast Kim Kardashian, netting her the attention of the celeb gossip writers at ABC News?

Because he could.

Like Craig said in his argument against the famous family, “Look at the Kardashians, they’re worth millions. Millions! I don’t think they were that badly off to begin with, but now look at them. You see that and you think, ‘What, you mean all I have to do is behave like a f*cking idiot on television and then you’ll pay me millions?’ I’m not judging it… Well I am obviously. I’m probably going to get visited by people from New Jersey.”

Heads up, Real Housewives of New Jersey and the cast of Jersey Shore.

In the meantime, Kim Kardashian’s estranged husband Kris Humphries is contesting his divorce from the femme fatale — allegedly by filing for an annulment.

More Kardashian sisters news to follow, for sure…
